Allegan, Mich. September 25, 2018— With an expected opening date set for spring of 2019, the expansive retail and entertainment complex, American Dream, will feature a towering attraction amongst its 450 planned stores and restaurants.
The integration of a custom 6 pole, 5 level Sky Trail® Explorer complete with 41 interactive elements and an integrated 4 pole, 3 level Sky Trail® Seeker with 12 elements has been approved to be located within the massive facility. The attraction will also include a QUICKjump free-fall device for the facility’s more daring participants to enjoy.
The inception of the 92 ft. tall family-friendly attraction involved collaboration between industry frontrunner Ropes Courses, Inc., RCI distributor RIDE Entertainment and developer of the American Dream project, Triple Five Group. This marks the 10th project that RIDE Entertainment and RCI have worked on together. Both companies have an impressive combined history with years of experience in the amusement attractions industry.
“We are thrilled that Triple Five Group chose the Ropes Courses, Inc. Sky Trail® as their new attraction at American Dream,” said Chief Business Development Officer for RIDE Entertainment, Adam Sandy. “The entertainment and retail complex is expected to be the largest indoor theme park in the western hemisphere when complete in 2019 and this record-breaking aerial attraction will be a centerpiece of the park by stretching to the ceiling. We know that guests from all over the world will love this amazing attraction.”
Installation of the Sky Trail® is slated to begin in the next few months to account for the impending spring opening date. Both the Sky Trail® Explorer and the Seeker will command attention in a Mesa Tan, Mocha and Weathered Bark color scheme.
“It will be rewarding to see this project completed as a result of the collaborative efforts between Triple Five Group, American Dream, RIDE Entertainment and RCI,” said Jon Weston, VP of Sales & Marketing at RCI. “The Sky Trail® is going to provide patrons a one-of-a-kind, hands-on immersive experience that is guaranteed to increase staying power and ROI for the entire entertainment complex.”
The 3 million ft² project is currently under construction in East Rutherford, New Jersey approximately 4.5 miles from The Lincoln Tunnel and is on course to open to the public in spring of 2019.
