MSC World America Ready for its Maiden Voyage

The ropes courses by RCI Adventure Products can be seen from a distance aboard the brand new MSC World America.

MSC World America Arrives in Miami

Just as the cruise industry arrives into Miami for the annual Seatrade Cruise Global at the Miami Beach Convention Center, so did the brand new MSC World America. It’s being reported by the Orlando Sentinel, as well as other news organizations, that the newest member to the MSC fleet arrived into port on Monday morning.

The MSC World America is set to take its inaugural cruise next week, which will be a seven-night excursion from Miami into the Caribbean and into the Bahamas.

Ropes Course on MSC World America

RCI Adventure Products is celebrating as the new ship includes a custom two-level Sky Trail® ropes course, complete with two curved Sky Rail® zip-line experiences. One Sky Rail® measures nearly 100-feet in length while the second measures over 60-feet.

The ropes course on the ship includes 25 obstacles including our popular rolling log and roller rail. At two levels, a guest standing on a second level platform is over 25 feet above the deck.

MSC World America, which is considered the world’s 8th largest cruise ship, includes seven unique districts including the Family Adventura, a district tailored to families. At the center of the district is The Harbour, an outdoor park that includes the RCI ropes course.

Celebrating Cruise Ships in Florida

RCI Adventure Products is once again exhibiting at the Seatrade Cruise Global tradeshow in Miami this week. Seatrade Cruise Global, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is the industry’s largest trade event and welcomes guests from all the major cruise lines including MSC, Carnival, Norwegian, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Costa, Viking and more.

Located in the Entertainment section of the tradeshow floor, RCI Adventure Products can be found at booth no. 4608.

“We’re always excited to take part in Seatrade Cruise Global,” said Zack Loeprich, RCI Marketing Manager. “Every year we’re adding additional ships to our cruise line portfolio so this gives us a chance to not only connect with current customers, but also show off some new products and designs.”

RCI is rapidly approaching it’s 30th cruise ship with a Sky Trail® ropes course. With over five ships scheduled to get a course in the next couple years, RCI will quickly exceed that milestone soon.
