RCI Adventure installs two new ropes courses in Asia

Sky Trail® obstacle courses in South Korea and Japan completed in spring

ALLEGAN – RCI Adventure Products’ installation team have long been world travelers, having installed courses in some 40 countries worldwide.

This past spring, two new Sky Trail® ropes courses were installed in South Korea and Japan.

The new ropes course in the Daejeon region of South Korea is a large 4-level outdoor course complete with a 70-foot curving Sky Rail® and a two QuickFlights, a free-fall like experience where participants leap from the upper levels of the ropes course while connected to an auto-belay.

The ropes course in South Korea, manufactured for EduCore Daejeon, has a few unique, branded elements included in its design. The course has two rope bridges where the planks spell out “EDUCORE” and “DAEJEON” respectively. The course also features a large, branded sign facing the entrance, EduCore Daejeon. These are just a couple of examples of how RCI can incorporate business branding onto a ropes course.

The second course, located in Saitama, Japan, in an indoor 2-level course complete with two Sky Rail® zip lines, eight Clip ‘n Climb climbing walls and a low ropes course, RCI’s Sky Tykes®, designed for kids aged 4-and-under. The expansive ropes course can fit 75 participants at a time on it and both zip lines measure nearly 100-feet apiece.

Each Clip ‘n Climb challenge is 28-feet tall. Each of the eight walls has a different design and difficult level, giving both new and experienced climbers a challenge.

Next week, from July 1-3, RCI Adventure Products’ sales team will be in Shanghai for the annual IAAPA Asia tradeshow. We’re excited to connect with attraction industry leaders in the region to show off all our courses in the region, in addition to projects slated for construction later in the year. Visitors to IAAPA Asia can find RCI at booth no. 1212 in Hall 1.
