Getting Ready for IAAPA 2025

Wrapping up an incredible year of building adventure

With the IAAPA Expo always falling around year end, it provides us a unique opportunity to reflect on the year that was and all that we were able to accomplish. We’ve completed so many amazing projects since we last gathered in Orlando and we’re excited to celebrate these brand-new adventure attractions.
IAAPA Expo 2025 kicks off the week of Nov. 17 with the showfloor open from Nov. 18-21 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday). RCI Adventure Products will, as always, have a big presence at the show and can be found at booth 5424.
This year’s event caps a busy calendar year for our sales and marketing teams as we’ve exhibited at more than a dozen events across the globe. The demand worldwide for our custom-built adventure attractions, including our famous Sky Trail® ropes course, is rapidly accelerating. We’ve completed over 20 attraction installations in the past year and 2026 doesn’t look like it’ll be any slower.
With all that said, we’re looking forward to a week of catching up with customers and potential customers, showing off our latest courses and seeing what we can do for them in 2026!

Adventure Attractions Worldwide

Like many other exhibitors at IAAPA Orlando, RCI exhibited at IAAPA’s global shows in 2025, in Barcelona in September and Shanghai in July. Those shows provided us a great opportunity to connect with regional amusement leaders and customers. RCI completed two more courses in Asia in the spring, one in Saitama, Japan, and the other in Daejeon, South Korea.
Through our long-time European distribution partner, Innovative Leisure, RCI is working on several projects in the region including a massive course expansion at Universe Science Park in Denmark. RCI installed a 3-level Sky Trail® at the park in 2016 and will be adding to that course in the spring of 2026. The expansion includes a second 3-level Sky Trail® course connected to the original with our Sky Tour® zip adventure.
RCI is also currently installing multiple courses across Saudi Arabia. With the inaugural IAAPA Middle East show coming in 2026 to Abu Dhabi, RCI is looking forward to showing off those attractions, as well as several other completed projects in the region.

Attractions Across America

In August, RCI Adventure Products completed the installation of the very first standalone Sky Tour® zip adventure for Allegan Event in Allegan, MI. This product is a modern take on the classic cable-based zipline excursions. RCI has installed several Sky Tour® courses over the past couple of years, but always attached to a Sky Trail® ropes course. The Allegan Event Sky Tour® features 6 zip rails, each measuring over 100-feet in length.
As IAAPA 2024 was wrapping up, construction was just starting on a new Great Wolf Lodge location in Connecticut. As part of the resort’s indoor Howler’s Peak play area, RCI installed a custom Sky Trail® ropes course, complete with a 180-degree Sky Rail®, and an integrated Adventure Trail® net-play course.
During last year’s event, RCI was also able to meet with team members from Mystic Aquarium, also in Connecticut, to finalize the design of a custom indoor Sky Trail® course over their reception desk. RCI completed that installation in March.

Ropes Course on New Cruise Ship

MSC World America made its maiden voyage this past spring out of Miami and around the Caribbean. MSC has been a long-time customer of RCI, with ropes courses on several of their cruise ships. We were thrilled to work with them again on a one-of-a-kind two-level Sky Trail® course, featuring 2 Sky Rails®, in the Family Aventura district on World America.
