Riverbanks Zoo & Garden adds new Sky Tykes®
COLUMBIA, SC – RCI installation crews finished work in July on a new low ropes course at the Riverbanks Zoo & Garden in Columbia, SC.
Branded Tiny Trailblazers Adventure, the course, designed for kids aged four and under (or 48 inches and less), is now open to the public. Riverbanks has been a longtime customer of RCI, having installed a Sky Trail® course over 10 years ago.
“We work with a lot of zoos and aquariums across the country and love helping them design an experience that fits into their environment and supports their mission of wildlife conservation and education,” said Zack Loeprich, RCI marketing manager.
Sky Tykes® is a pint-sized version of the Sky Trail®, providing kids with challenging rope, bridge and beam obstacles. The course is designed in such a way as to allow parents to walk along side their kids and provide support when needed.
The new low ropes course at Riverbanks even includes two Sky Rail® zip experiences.
“The Sky Rail® is always a big hit with the kids and its what keeps them on the course for a longtime,” said Loeprich. “If you have trouble getting your kid out of the pool, this will be similar. ‘Just one more zip!'”
