TAKING MINI GOLF TO NEW HEIGHTS IN OCEAN CITY
There are only about 7,000 year-long residents in Ocean City, MD, but that number swells to over 300,000 during the summer months as visitors descend on the coastal community for some sun and fun. Lining the Coastal Highway, which runs parallel to the Atlantic Ocean, are hotels, restaurants, shops and a wide-variety of summer recreational opportunities including mini-golf. The 2-level custom Sky Trail® ropes course built by RCI Adventure Products in 2023 at Nick’s Mini Golf stands out. Approximately 70-100 participants could go through the course every hour.

FEATURES OF THE NICK’S MINI GOLF ADVENTURE ATTRACTIONS
VISUAL ATTRACTION: The Coastal Highway cuts straight through Ocean City and is lined on either side with restaurants, hotels, shops and recreational opportunities like mini-golf. Located just a few yards off this busy thoroughfare is the 2-level ropes course. It stands out and helps draw in local traffic.
ROOM FOR EXPANSION: Sky Trail® courses are designed in such a way where they allow for easy expansion, including additional poles, levels, elements or a Sky Rail® zipline.
MULTIPLE ATTRACTIONS: As the name suggests, Nick’s Mini Golf is home to a Jurassic-themed 18-hole mini-golf course. With course clearance of 9 feet, the two attractions are able to fit into the same footprint.
VIEWING DECK: Nick’s Mini Golf added a nice viewing platform/deck on top of their main building that puts onlookers even with the first level of the ropes course and gives them a great photography opportunity. While this isn’t something RCI designed or built, it brings a lot of value to the course as you have a better vantage point to watch your friends and family traverse obstacles.
MANUFACTURED TO LAST: Ocean City sits on a narrow strip of land, sandwiched by the Assawoman Bay on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Coastal communities know how the salt air can affect everything. RCI not only builds its ropes courses to last, but we also provide annual inspections and ongoing support to keep courses looking and performing at their very best.
