Ropes course at ski resorts
For seasonal businesses, the off season came present challenges. Finding ways of attracting customers outside the peak season gives businesses, such as a ski resort, an opportunity to explore different attractions. Guided hikes, mountain biking and golfing are popular offerings. For Sasquatch Mountain, located outside of Vancouver, they’re helping to alleviate the off-season dip with a custom 4-level Sky Trail® ropes, complete with 2 Sky Rail® ziplines. They also added a Sky Tykes® course, designed for kids aged four and under.

FEATURES OF THE SASQUATCH MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE ATTRACTIONS
CUSTOM COLOR SCHEME: The brand of the ski resort included blue, greens and browns which we worked into the design of the course, as well as included branded elements.
INTEGRATED INTO MOUNTAIN: The footprint of the course required RCI designers and engineers to design the course moving the supporting pillars gradually up the mountain side.
PANORAMIC VIEWS: The highest point of the ropes course is 60-feet above ground with the fourth level platform being 48-feet above ground.
LOW ROPES COURSE FOR KIDS: A custom Sky Tykes® low ropes course for kids was installed under the Sky Trail® course and includes 11 obstacles and a nearly 80-foot 180-degree Sky Rail® zipline experience.
OFF SEASON SUPPORT: Ski resorts are easing the off-season dip with added attractions like ropes courses. Our Sky Trail® ropes course appeals to the same guest demographic that enjoys the rush of skiing down the mountain side!
MANUFACTURED TO LAST: RCI manufactures its courses to withstand any weather conditions including the high winds and rain in the Pacific Northwest.
