The Audubon Nature Institute in New Orleans, Louisiana celebrates the grand opening of ‘Kamba Kourse’, a brand new ropes course attraction on March 1, 2015 at the Audubon Zoo. Kamba Kourse features a three level Sky Trail® Explorer and a Sky Tykes™.
“You get 30 minutes to go up and play. It’s like a jungle gym in the sky,” Katie Ramjattan, Kamba Kourse Manager, said. “The plank on top is the most exciting part. You get a 360-degree view of the city and the zoo. You’re going to see giraffes, and other zoo animals,” Ramjattan added.
Participants can spend 30 minutes navigating the course, choosing their own path, at their own pace.
The rope elements include zig-zag swinging beams, crisscross angled rope ladders, bridges and cargo nets. Kamba Kourse occupies 5, 250 square feet and can accommodate about 50 guests at a time.
