HIGH CAPACITY ATTRACTION FOR SUMMER CAMPS, CAMPGROUNDS, RV PARKS

Over 20 years ago Clip ‘n Climb reinvented the climbing wall market with an array of unique, fun and challenging climbing experiences. The Delta Tower is a standalone climbing structure that can be installed indoor or outdoor and offers three climbing experiences: the Astroball, the Twister and the Ascendor. One of the benefits of Clip ‘n Climb is that it caters to a wide age and skill range. The Ascendor, for example, gets the lowest difficultly rating and is perfect for beginners. The Astroballs, on the other hand, is the most difficult of the three and will challenge a climbers strength and endurance. All Clip ‘n Climb walls and structures utilize the TRUBLUE auto-belay system, allowing climbers to safely climb and descend without staff support. Harnessed participants are clipped into the auto-belay system, allowing them to move at their own pace without requiring a spotter or belayer.

A CLIMBING WALL WITH FLAIR

Perhaps no climbing wall in the entire Clip ‘n Climb catalog stands out as much, or makes as big of an impression, as the Twister. This rainbow-colored climbing wall can accommodate two climbers at once, allowing friends to race each other to the top.

The Twister’s unique design will appeal to climbers of all skill levels as consistent hand and foot holds are possible all the way to the top. The challenge with Twister is that it forces climbers to move from left to right, testing their endurance and flexibility.

For summer camps, campgrounds, RV Parks and schools, this visually appealing climbing wall will standout and make for excellent promotional material. Current customers with Twister get an added boast on social media as posts often feature this wall.

GET READY FOR A CHALLENGE

Whereas Twister might win on the visual front, the Astroball climbing wall combines both a visual pop and higher degree of difficultly. This wall will challenge climbers as strong arms and excellent footwork are required to overcome these spherical polyethylene balls. While Twister gives climbers a fairly consistent route to the top, the stacked spheres that make up Astroball descend in size, requiring climbers to adapt as they go. Better yet, since this climbing wall can accommodate three climbers at once, you might be contending with another climber for the same handouts.

At a summer camp, a camper might struggle with Astroball at the start of the week. This could become one of those great summer camp memories as, by week end, that camper finally overcomes the toughest climbing wall challenge.

CLIMBING CONFIDENCE

Of the three challenges on the Delta Climbing Tower, Ascendor rates as the easiest and can provide young campers that are new to climbing a much needed confidence boost. The Ascendor is ladder-like in its design, providing climbers a familiar and consistent climbing experience. On the Ascendor’s two-sided design one side has closer steps making it an even easier challenge. Climbers will have good hand and foot holds all the way up and it will be a popular warm-up wall before tackling Twister and Astroball.

Climbing walls can be intimidating, so much so that it could scare a young climber away before they even try. The Delta Climbing Tower, with its graduated challenges, helps new climbers gain confidence and get comfortable with heights, which could be up to 32-feet. Ascendor is a great first challenge to help the youngest climbers achieve new heights (literally).
