IAAPA 2018: The RCI Booth And Beyond

Earlier this month RCI exhibited at the 2018 IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida from November 13-16 for the 15th year with 21 staff members in tow. Our 5,000 sq. ft (465 sq. mtrs) booth (5730) featured a 2-level Sky Trail® with a 180-degree curved Sky Rail™, 8 Clip ‘n Climb® climbing walls and a Sky Tykes® complete with its own Sky Rail™. Together, the installation of these attractions was well worth it as countless attendees and over 1,600 participants visited our booth and interacted with our adventure products first-hand.

We continue to exhibit each year to showcase our newest innovations and connect with our current clients, prospective buyers and many of our industry-leading partners in one spot. This year, we debuted a new enhanced Sky Trail® safety entrance. The optional device operates as a secondary check with a series of sensors to confirm that operators have properly connected the slingline to the participant’s harness before they begin their adventure on the Sky Trail®. We also featured new Sky Tykes® pass-through elements that have larger spans for the young participants to cross independently as a way to encourage more flexible thinking and physical growth. These pass-through points allow parents and guardians to easily access each area to support their child when necessary as well.

Aside from the product enhancements, we also premiered RCI’s new brand identity to celebrate 30 years in business. Emphasizing this feat, we used our time at IAAPA to strengthen our global partnerships with amusement industry frontrunners Entre-Prise, Clip ‘n Climb, and Head Rush Technologies. We also formed new partnerships with several global adventure product suppliers to expand our international distribution network. These notable partnerships will help us provide our foreign country buyers additional support and ensure they receive optimal customer service throughout the lifetime of their product ownership. More information on these new developments will be announced in the new year.

Overall, we are elated to have been part of IAAPA’s 100th year anniversary and we are extremely excited to see what the new year brings us all!
