Allegan, Mich. May 14, 2019— Amidst approximately 40,000 industry professionals at this year’s International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) annual real estate conference (RECon) in Las Vegas, Nevada will be Ropes Courses Incorporated (RCI) and LiggettVille. LiggettVille, another venture by RCI owners, Jim and Michelle Liggett, owns and operates family adventure centers that are located in properties like malls, retail centers and city centers. Both adventure attraction companies will be stationed in booth #N1337 throughout the entirety of the conference which will take place from May 20-22 inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Dedicated to creating the ideal entertainment space for retail facilities, LiggettVille acts as both the owner and operator of provided adventure attractions by managing employees, completing course inspections and helping with marketing efforts. With those items taken care of, property owners are then able to relish in the benefits that the integration of LiggettVille attractions deliver such as increased customer dwell time, added foot traffic and the monetization of unused airspace or undesirable areas.
“For each property, we consider the given space and square footage available and based on the surroundings, flow of people, etc., we maximize the WOW factor to transform these spaces into unforgettable attractions,” explained Michelle Liggett, co-founder of LiggettVille.
The company currently offers three models to businesses that come in different sizes and feature their own collection of adventure products: MegaVille, GigaVille and TeraVille. For example, the smallest configuration, MegaVille, consists of a Sky Trail® aerial attraction with Sky Rail™ and a kid-friendly Sky Tykes® attraction with its very own Sky Rail™. Prominent clients of LiggettVille include Jordan’s Furniture, both the Reading, Massachusetts and the New Haven Connecticut store, and Allegan Event, an old warehouse turned family entertainment center in Allegan, Michigan.
“Our goal at RECon this year is to make those in the industry aware of our specialty, experience and why a LiggettVille attraction would be an amazing asset to them” added Liggett.
For the third year in a row the manufacturer of those attractions, RCI will also be attending to meet and discuss with retail space developers and designers about how their adventure products can deliver highly profitable retailtainment solutions. RCI has years of experience in this industry with Sky Trail® and Sky Tykes® aerial attractions present in retail locations like Jordan’s Furniture, Mall of America and new in 2019, the much anticipated American Dream retail complex.
“RCI is ready to dive deeper into the world of retail and offer businesses of this nature the adventure products that their guests will love,” said Jon Weston, chief sales officer for RCI. “We are pleased to share the booth with LiggettVille as both our companies share a similar goal of helping facilities diversify their offerings while also thrilling their guests.”
