Bavarian Inn opens 3-level indoor Sky Trail® ropes course with 180-degree Sky Rail®
FRANKENMUTH, MI – RCI Adventure Products is thrilled to be a part of the expansion project taking place at the Bavarian Inn Lodge in Frankenmuth, MI.
Last fall, RCI installation teams erected a 3-level Sky Trail® ropes course, complete with a 120-degree curving Sky Rail® zip line, inside the newly renovated family entertainment center. The project also included 3 unique Clip ‘n Climb® climbing walls, located next to the ropes course.
BAVARIAN BLAST UNDER CONSTRUCTION
RCI’s portion of the project was part of Phase 2 of the renovation that, once completed, will feature Michigan’s largest indoor waterpark, the Bavarian Blast Waterpark.
While the waterpark expansion project is still ongoing, the Bavarian Inn was able to open the ropes course and climbing walls in time for the holiday season. No ETA has been announced for the waterpark’s grand opening.
The Bavarian Inn ropes course, called Jacob’s High Flying Adventure Ropes Course, stands approximately 45-feet high and features 24 unique elements including the challenging Rolling Log and Roller Rail. The Sky Rail® zip line runs nearly 90 feet around the parameter of the course, taking riders from the third level down to the second.
INDOOR CLIMBING WALLS
One of the benefits of including Clip ‘n Climb walls is that participants can move off the Sky Trail® ropes course onto the climbing walls using the same safety harness. Utilizing the harness, participants will be clipped into the climbing walls auto-belay system, keeping them safe as they climb and repel.
ACTIVITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Jacob’s High Flying Adventure Ropes Course is situated at a central point within the indoor family entertainment center. The center includes an 18-hole mini-golf course, laser tag, over 180 arcade games and a karaoke bar. With tables situated under and around the ropes course, parents can enjoy a drink and some snacks while watching their kids navigate the course.
Stay up to date on the Bavarian Blast renovation project on their website. Guests staying at the Bavarian Inn can still enjoy the lodge’s existing pools, waterslides and hot tubs.
