Every four years, as the world’s attention turns to the summer Olympics, viewers at home get much-needed reminders of the long journey each athlete undertook to arrive on the world stage. It never happens overnight, and it never happens without the support of family, friends, coaches and a long line of supporters. As we get to know each athlete and their unique journey, we’re taken back to where it all began: a local swimming pool, a neighborhood ballpark, a school track, an empty lot or a local kid’s gym. We get a welcome reminder that greatness can be born out of any circumstance, any background and from any corner of the world.  

One of the most popular and reoccurring clips we get during the summer Olympics is of a gymnast’s home gym and the young kids tuned into their every moment. Every pass on during the floor routine, every flip on the balance beam or release move on the bar is watched with abated breath. Dreams of their own Olympic moment, someday in the near future, are born in those tense moments.

Indoor adventure courses for kid’s gyms

Kids gyms have a way of becoming a second home. Their mission isn’t to pump out Olympic athlete after Olympic athlete. It’s far less simple. Their mission is to create an environment where physical activity and fitness is fun and celebrated. It’s an environment where active play is encouraged and kids learn behaviors that lead to healthier lifestyles.

A ropes course, for example, is a great tool for a kids gym as it is not only fun, but fosters teamwork. We’ve worked with facilities across the country, and world, helping them build out their attraction offering. With ground clearance of approximately 9-feet, our indoor ropes courses can traverse other attractions and gym activities. This allows our customers to maximize their facility’s footprint.

Self-led aerial adventure course

We design our all our ropes courses to allow participants to go on a self-guided, self-paced adventure. From a single platform, a course participant can have multiple pathway options. From easy, stable and rigid bridge elements, complete with support ropes and rails, to more challenging swaying, single-rope elements, participants have an opportunity to stay in their comfort zone or test their limits. The choice is theirs! 

RCI’s patented overhead tracking system not only keeps participants safe and tethered to the course at all times, but it also allows them to move freely throughout the course with requiring staff assistance. Participants can move back-and-forth across elements, passed slower course participants, take breaks to rest and move seamlessly to our zipline.

Zipline adventure at kids gyms

Sky Rail®, RCI’s patented zipline attraction, fits seamlessly onto our Sky Trail® ropes course and will quickly become the most popular attraction/ride at your park. Best of all, guests can move from the ropes course to the zipline without requiring additional gear or staff support. Our patented zipline safety system ensures only one guests is on the zipline at a time, keeping everyone safe.

RCI has near limitless design options for the zipline, as we can configure it to fit your space. Our popular 180-degree zipline can wrap around your ropes course, giving guests a long, thrilling ride in a confined space.

Climbing walls for kids gyms

Clip ‘N Climb® has made the world of climbing more accessible and fun. Clip ‘N Climb walls come in a wide variety of themes, each with vibrant colors and designs. Beyond aesthetic appeal, Clip ‘N Climb climbing walls are designed for a wide variety of experience levels, from easy to difficult. Each climbing wall is approximately 6-feet wide and can vary in height, depending on facility, from 21-33 feet. Because of their narrow design, you are able to line up a long row of walls, each with a different theme and difficulty level. Clip ‘N Climb utilizes the TRUBLUE auto belay system, the most-trusted and tested climbing equipment in the industry.
