Mountain side adventure with outdoor ropes course
In 2023, RCI Adventure Products completed construction on a 4-level Sky Trail® adventure course, complete with 2 Sky Rail® ziplines, for Sasquatch Mountain Resort in British Columbia. This is one of several ski resorts RCI has worked with across the country. The Sasquatch Mountain’s unique design incorporates the mountainside as the custom course is built up along the slope. From the fourth level of this amazing course, guests are treated to treetop views and panoramic views the surrounding mountain landscape.
Attract a wider audience with a ropes course
The adventure seeker that loves hitting the slopes in the winter time will find the same thrills with RCI’s Sky Trail® ropes course with a Sky Rail® zipline. Custom-designed courses can be tailored to better fit your core audience, with more challenging obstacles, higher levels and longer zipline rides. Better yet, adding an RCI adventure course will help attract the non-skier as well, helping draw in a larger crowds from a wide geographic footprint.
New off-season revenue stream
Ski Resorts have long been fans of high ropes courses and zipline adventures. When the snow melts, the trees and forests around these beautiful resorts come alive and make them ideal destinations for hikers, wilderness lovers and adventure seekers. Resorts have increasingly tapped into this seasonal opportunity with tours and added attractions like mountain coasters, slides, tree-to-tree ziplines and challenge courses.
RCI manufacturers a free standing, durable structures fabricated from steel that will hold up against challenging outdoor conditions. As the ski season winds down, our ropes courses will help bring in crowds and boast off-season revenue. Since the course requires staffing, ski resorts are also able to keep valued staff around year-long to support spring, summer and fall activities.
