4 Reasons Why You Need to Attend the IAAPA Expo

It’s almost time for our biggest trade show of the year, the IAAPA Expo, held in Orlando, Florida from November 19-22! That’s right, our entire crew of RCI sales experts and authorized distributors will be stationed in booth 5730 to talk with you about our wide portfolio of products and answer any questions you may have. We hope that you will stop by to say hello but in the case that you’re still on the fence about attending this year’s show, we want to explain a few reasons why it’s so valuable to experience.

I know it probably just sounds like another trade show but trust us, it’s so much more. Aside from exploring hundreds of booths on the showroom floor, there are exclusive events guests can attend, high-level speakers attendees are able to listen to and so many in-person products to see, feel and try out for yourself. Let’s dive in a bit deeper and maybe by the end of this article you’ll be enthralled enough to register!

  • Listen to experienced speakers

Each year at the IAAPA Expo, qualified individuals are asked to speak to large rooms full of interested industry professionals and again for this go-around, the great lineup continues. Speakers such as George Walker, creative director of Universal Creative Studio, and Vince Kadlubek, CEO and co-founder of Meow Wolf, will be two of the many scheduled to discuss topics relevant to the amusement attractions industry.

Taking the time to sit and listen to what these seasoned leaders have to say is certainly worth the while as you will leave for the day having gained a different perspective on a given topic and increased insight into what really makes the industry tick.

  • Attend exclusive events

Throughout the show there are certain events available to attendees that, according to IAAPA itself, can lead to “valuable, life-long connections and business partnerships” [1]. IAAPA Expo registration is required if individuals wish to participate in any of the listed events and depending on the event, a separate ticket may also be required.

Unlike most other trade shows, events are a combination of onsite and offsite meaning that attendees may either stay on the showroom floor for education sessions or venture outside of the exhibition center to travel to a specified location for a tour. • Connections, connections, connections

The IAAPA Expo is the place to meet people within the industry and you guessed it, make connections. The pool of available individuals may be limited at some trade shows but not this one as more than 1,000 exhibiting companies are set to attend and showcase their innovative products. Scout out a few companies you’re most interested in knowing more about or simply take a tour of the floor to experience a little bit of everything.

Whether you’re attending the show for a day or all 4 days, make the most out of your time and speak with as many people as you can. You never know where your conversations could lead you!

  • Trying out our Sky Trail® aerial attraction & Clip ‘n Climb® activities!

We may be biased here but the fourth reason to make your way over to this year’s IAAPA Expo is the chance to try out our Sky Trail® attraction and Clip ‘n Climb® climbing activities firsthand! Similar to past years, we will have installed full-size products inside of our booth for attendees to experience.

The Sky Trail® will be the focal point of our booth with its bright color scheme and appealing feel for all ages and will be built above our sales meeting area. While a full collection of Clip ‘n Climb® walls will not be featured in our booth this year, we will be debuting a new 3-challenge configuration that utilizes a triangular structure on top to stabilize the typically non-free standing activities.Ideal for any industry in need of outdoor entertainment that may also have limited space, this cost-effective climbing formation is constructed using water-resistant materials and is able to accommodate 7 participants at a time.

All in all, we hope to see you there and we envision this year’s show being even better than the last!
