Amusement Attraction & Adventure Courses at Zoos
Zoos and aquariums present an immersive, often up-close experience for visitors that focus on education, conservation, tourism and sustainability. They aim to inspire and educate their visitors with animal exhibits, connections to nature and learning activities in much the same way as museums and other educational facilities. These facilities are adding adventure attractions such as aerial ropes courses or zip lines because of their natural appeal and ability to increase revenue for such facilities. Zoos and aquariums engage a steady stream of groups, such as those belonging to a school field trip, while at the same time giving off that wow factor. Bamboo Forest Adventure Play
The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo recently unveiled it’s Bamboo Forest Adventure Play ropes course, a 2-level Sky Trail® course with a 180-degree Sky Rail® zipline. The team at the Fort Wayne zoo did an outstanding job integrating the course into the zoo’s footprint, from course name to it’s color scheme to the on-course branding and finally, it’s location in the zoo. Located in the Asia section, where many of the tree-dwelling animals are on exhibit, the new ropes course fits in seamlessly.
